Global Cricket Ventures Signs Up Exclusively with Quasar to Sell Sponsorship and Advertising on CLT20.COM, the Official Website of the Champions League 2009

It was recently announced that Global Cricket Ventures, the builder and operator of the Champions League Official Website, has signed an exclusive sales deal with Quasar, India’s largest integrated digital agency.  Together Global Cricket Ventures and Quasar will offer advertisers and agencies (traditional and digital) the high-value opportunity to advertise on/sponsor the 2009 version of clt20.com, the Official Website of the Champions League.

www.clt20.com will be broadly promoted and prominently positioned on the global television broadcast and is expected to reach over 5 million unique visitors during the course of the Champions League.  The co-marketing and promotion will be at the same level as occurred early this year for the Official Website of the Indian Premier League; such promotion lead the IPL website to be the highest visited website during the tournament (Source:Comscore).

Moneka Khurana Joins Quasar Mumbai as Regional Head to Strengthen Operations

In a move to strengthen our growing operations in Mumbai, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Moneka Khurana as Business Director – West. Prior to joining Quasar, Ms. Khurana was Account Director at DraftFCB+Ulka, where she worked for about eight years.

Sandeep Singh, Director at Quasar said, “We are happy to have an experienced campaigner like Moneka Khurana on board with us. We have been looking to fill this position for quite some time now, but were always patient to get only the right person on board, and we got one in Moneka. Independence Day celebrations @ Quasar

It wasn’t just another regular Friday morning, there was something colourful brewing in the air.

A faint smell of patriotism with a dash of tri colours, the excitement was quite apparent in the air. The team at Quasar sported their brand of patriotism on their sleeves, quite literally so… through their clothes, which were in tune with the colours of the Indian national flag.

The creative team, went into artistic frenzy like always, and caught hold of their brushes and painted everyone green, white, blue and saffron. The riot of colours was apparent everywhere on the staff’s faces and bodies, no one was spared. Our creative director Richa Burman was the one who kick started the indie day celebrations in Delhi office. If there was one person who could be held responsible for the every one’s tri coloured state, it had to be her.

The first in the Independence Day series was the inspiring Q logo dressed in quintessential Indian wear. Next was a burst of activities where tattoos themed on the Indian flag were sported by the team, a bonding session while savouring delicious Indian fare and last but not least of all was the round table conference where words like freedom, Gandhi, Nehru, Pakistan etc. were flying amidst pounding fists and rising Delhi temperature.

A quick round of cigarettes and chai restored the situation to normalcy again. The patriotic spark which started in the nation’s capital or rather Quasar’s headquarters spread across to its other branches in Mumbai and Bangalore. And why not, there were pictures of the celebrations posted on facebook, which spread the patriotic fever at Mumbai and Bangalore. They soon kick started their celebrations and joined the frenzy. Kamal Krishna, the National Creative Head, who is currently in Kenya, too jumped into the freedom bandwagon by posting inspiring messages of the Indian Independence to his team back in India.

All in all, it was one truly inspiring day when the team at Quasar across the world bonded and were in one element. And this is just the beginning… Jai Hind!
